    Eligibility:-
     
    Passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology subject securing at least 45%marks (40%in case for candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together & JEE (Main) 2018 or HPCET-2018 conduct by HP Technical University, Without Test 55% General Category, 50% SC/ST Category.
     
    LATERAL ENTRY - 
     
    Eligibility:-
     
    Passed Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution; with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology.
     
    Passed B.Sc. Degree from arecognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks(40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)and passed 10+2 standard with mathematics as a subject.Provided that in case of studentsbelonging to B.Sc stream, shallclear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawingand Engineering Mechanics ofthe first year EngineeringProgram along with the secondyear subjects.
     
    Provided further that the Students belonging to B.Sc. Stream shall be considered onlyafter filling the supernumeraryseats in this category withstudents belonging to theDiploma stream.
     
    Admission Criteria:-
     
    The admission to B.Tech 2nd year degree course under Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made on the basis of merit of diploma in appropriate branch conducted by H.P. TaknikiShiksha Board. Provided that if seats under lateral entry scheme remain vacant, the same shall be filled up from the candidates whohave passed diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from any other recognized University/Board.
